What Happens When You Call

The person who picks up can talk shingles, flashing and decking with you in plain terms. We ask where the trouble shows up, how long it has been going on and whether bad weather rolled through before it began. Then we pick a time to look at your home in person, and we spell out what that visit covers before you commit to anything.

Mention hail or wind as soon as you suspect it. We can explain the usual path of a claim, from your own photos and notes to the adjuster's inspection, and what we record on the roof to back it up. What your insurer pays is their decision, not ours, so we will never promise an amount. We would rather you hear that plainly on the first call than be surprised later.

A Few Things Worth Having on Hand

1. Your best guess at when the leak, lifted shingles or other trouble first showed up.
2. The approximate date of a recent hail or wind storm, if you suspect it played a part.
3. Pictures you have snapped of the roof, the gutters or any water marks indoors.
4. If a claim is already open, the name of your insurer and the number they assigned to it.
